Winter in Reston
There’s so much to do at Signature all year round. Just because it’s cold outside, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the great outdoors in Reston this season. Make your way to one of these community events and take full advantage of winter in Reston.
Sledding in Reston
Take the kids out for a day of wintry fun at, what many residents, call “King Kong Hill.” According to Modern Reston, the best place to park is in the northwest corner of Isaac Newton Square. Enjoy supine hills and lots of space here. Hidden Creek Country Club is a five minute drive from Signature.
Small Business Support Sundays
Visit Reston Town Center every Sunday for a chance to shop local and small. Sundays at Reston Town Center are filled with deals, discounts and tastings specifically from locally-owned and operated businesses. Be sure to check out Mon Ami Gabi, Davelle Clothiers and The Tasting Room when you stop by.
Test out your skills on the ice now through March at Reston Town Center. Come on Friday between 8 p.m.-10 p.m. for a live DJ set and fun games. Or, bring the kids out on Saturdays for Cartoon Skate where they can see characters like Cat in the Hat and Scooby Doo. Admission is $9 for seniors and those under age 12, and $10 for adults.
