New Year’s Resolutions You Can Stick With
We’ve all been there: you set a New Year’s resolution, only to lose stamina or go back to your old ways a few weeks into the year. It’s nothing to be ashamed of — but it can be prevented. Here are some smart ways to stick with those New Year’s resolutions.
Make it convenient. Convenience is key to incorporating your resolution into your life. For example, instead of setting a goal to go to the gym everyday, try to exercise for 15 minutes each day in our SkyTop Fitness Center. You can always work your way up to a more challenging goal as the year goes on.
Start slow. Another way to make resolutions and lifestyle changes more accessible is by starting with baby steps. For example, instead of going on an intense diet, simply try to add an extra vegetable or fruit to each meal. If you need some help, you can find fresh, healthy veggies at Balducci’s.
Make it exciting. If you think of New Year’s resolutions as boring or intimidating, you have the wrong mindset. Making lifestyle changes for the better should be fun and exciting, not something to dread.
