Where to Go Leaf Peeping Around Reston

Autumn has officially arrived, and that means the leaves will soon be changing! If you’re looking for a way to get out of the apartment and enjoy Mother Nature, going for a scenic drive or a hike is the perfect option. Reston and the surrounding areas have plenty of beautiful green spaces to explore.

Take the winding trail around Lake Anne to spot leaves in vibrant shades of orange and yellow. Go for a drive along Georgetown Pike, which is lined with stunning examples of autumn splendor. Catch glimpses of the Mather Gorge and its stunning scenery at Great Falls Park, or head to nearby Scott’s Run Nature Preserve.
