The Lakefront area just wouldn’t be the same without Kalypso’s Sports Tavern. This Lake Anne staple has been the go-to spot for special celebrations, lively entertainment, or just a simply delicious meal along the water for over 10 years. The outdoor seating and expansive patio area (equipped with heaters) is particularly important now with social distancing concerns, and allows you to enjoy a dine-in experience a bit more safely. Stop out for weekly events like music bingo Tuesdays, free dance lessons, or Karaoke nights. Kalypso’s Sports Tavern has something fun just about every day of the week, including a truly memorable weekend brunch. 

When it comes to the food, the menu might not be what you’d expect from a sports bar or waterfront dining establishment. Kalypso’s Sports Tavern creates expert Greek food, from classic appetizers like dips and saganaki cheese, to gyros and mixed grill entrees. Something about the restaurant’s Mediterranean fare tastes especially good by the water and is a welcome change from all the at-home eating we’ve been doing.
