August 15 Is National Relaxation Day!
Fall will be here before you know it, which means it’s time to make the most out the remaining days of summer. One way to do just that is by treating yourself to a little R&R! You’ll have the perfect opportunity to kick your feet up on National Relaxation Day on Sunday, August 15.
Established in 1986, this annual holiday is a reminder to recenter, regroup, and practice a little self-care. You could treat yourself to a day at the spa, for example, or sink into your favorite chair with a good book and your favorite drink or treat. Rather do something a little more active? Break a sweat through walking, bicycling, or jogging. A good laugh is always a great stress reliever, so phone your best friend or watch a funny movie. There’s no limit to the ways you can celebrate National Relaxation Day, so get creative!
