Honoring Those We Lost on September 11, 2001

Saturday, September 11, 2021, marks the 20-year anniversary of the devastating terrorist attacks that occurred on this day in 2001. Now, Americans and others across the globe know this day as Patriot Day or Remembrance Day, an occasion to reflect and preserve the memory of the 3,000 civilians and first responders whose lives were lost on that fateful morning two decades ago.

To participate, set aside some time during your day to pause for a moment of silence. Patriot Day ceremonies and memorials can also provide an opportunity for reflection and healing.
