Happy National Neighbor Day!

Won’t you be my neighbor? September 28 is National Neighbor Day, a day to recognize and celebrate the people who live right next door! And despite the fact that you live in such close proximity to your neighbors, it’s possible (if not probable) that you know nothing about them! Today is the day to change that.

Instead of simply passing by your fellow community members, take a moment to say hello, introduce yourself, and strike up a conversation. You could chat about the weather, for example, or ask if they can recommend a good restaurant or coffee shop nearby. It’s this type of personal connection that really fosters a sense of community!
