Don’t Miss The District’s Holiday Boat Parade This Weekend!

Save the date! On Saturday, Dec. 4, The District’s Holiday Boat Parade will return to the Potomac River! Bundle up, grab a mug of hot cocoa, and head to The Wharf to watch as 60 boats—each illuminated in their holiday best—parade through the Washington Channel.

After marveling at the beautifully decorated vessels, warm up by the fire pit, roast s’mores, enjoy ice skating, decorate holiday ornaments, and meet Santa. The event will also feature a waterfront wine and beer garden, fireworks, and live music!

This fun, free holiday event starts at 6 p.m. at The Wharf, with the boats scheduled to arrive one hour later. The event culminates with fireworks at 8 p.m., followed by live music from 8:15 p.m. to 9 p.m.
